Please meet our newest addition to the programmatic team: our Programmatic Demand Director Daphne Roca!

How would you describe yourself within three words?
Driven, Enthusiastic, Social.

Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Palma de Mallorca. When I turned 4, I moved to the Netherlands. In the Netherlands I’ve lived in different villages/cities.

What did you study?
I studied Latin American Studies at the University of Leiden. Both my Bachelor and my Master were part of this study.

What did you do prior to this job?
Before I joined Azerion I was a Sr. Client Partner at Spotify. Prior to Spotify I worked at Adform.

Best memory of your previous job?
Winning an internal Spotify presenting competition in Paris. This was my first appearance after being OOO for a long time due to maternity. The fact that I won gave me the confidence that I still got it ;).

How did you get in touch with Azerion Netherlands?
A lot of my lovely ex-colleagues from several previous jobs work for Azerion. So through different contacts I got in touch with Azerion Netherlands.

What will be your tasks at Azerion Netherlands?
The first couple of months I will function as a maternity cover in the role of Programmatic Demand Director. After this temporary role I will move to an international role within Azerion.

What are your ambitions for the future?
I would love to be part of the global expansion of Azerion. Making use of all the knowledge I gathered throughout my career and at the same time learn more and develop myself further on a professional level.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Cooking, eating and drinking good wine keeps my soul alive. 

Dancing, Ski-ing and Horseback riding gives me a thrill. 

Spending time with my partner Kevin and dog Jolie makes me happy.

Discovering the world all over again through the lens of my 2 year old daughter, Emma, is my everything.

Which talent / hobby would you like to give more time?
Hitting the dance floor!

Which country would you like to visit?
Still so many on my list. I visited Brazil twice already. But I would love to visit Rio de Janeiro again. The sounds, smells, colors and people are magical. I think I was a Carioca in my previous life;).
